Maybe y'all discovered this a long time ago and I'm just now discovering it. But, if you haven't downloaded Google Earth, you need to. I can't quit zooming around the world, looking at everything.

Yeah, I saw that at work. Was quite cool, although New Zealand is just a map rather than satelite pictures.

Most of the UK has terrible resolution, which makes me sad. Moreover, the search function is bizarrely inadequate, missing such places as "Nevada".

My house isn't visible either because of trees. It pinpoints my address at our neighbors across the street and up one door. If your house is new, it might not appear because the images are taken from the last 3 years. According to the site it is in updated in rotation.

Are you able to find it by manually drilling down to it?

I've had this for a few weeks now...I can find the log house thing I stayed in when I was in Canada, and I can pinpoint the villages I stayed in in the Andes when I was trekking. It's very cool.

Yeah, I love that program. I spend hours using it. Check out the Airport on Bermuda. You can clearly see a plane on a very short final approach. That's so cool!! :D

Check out the airport in Baghdad. You can see jets all around the terminals. You can get some pretty good views of the palace, too.

That's because your area isn't populated enough, or near enough a major city.

Since these are satellite pictures and most of the world's satellites are used for monitoring high population areas...and other things.

Well, you see, we didn't want to tell you this, as it might be upsetting. However, you don't actually exist. Sorry, but you're just a psuedosentient figment of the collective human imagination.
