California. Ask the other states, they don't want to be associated with us (except all that money we put in) and we don't want anything to do with them-it's like another country, or should be, anyway.

And that's Northern California-not to be confused with southern California, or the shallow end of the pool.

I live on this road (http://www.southbayriders.com/forums/uploads8/100581.jpg) JOY! (that's not my bike, actually this thrill ride of a road is wasted on my VW Bus, but that's moot because of all the slow poke tourists who ruin my fun anyways. If the VW Bus is riding your tail on an uphill twisty road-YOU'RE GOING TOO SLOW! Ahem...sorry-off topic but I was late to work today because of a pokey...)

You've just been fooled by the crap we put next to the turnpike, the refineries, chemical plants, swamps and stuff. We do that to make NJ seem uninviting and thus keep undesirables out. New Jersey is, in fact, paradise on earth, but we don't let just anybody live here. If you're that easily fooled, we don't want you. You wouldn't fit in with the rest of us quick-witted ultra-hip gods among mortal men.

So hell has a nice seashore, legalized gambling at a picturesque seaside resort, large wilderness areas suitable for camping, hunting and fishing, lively cities that play host to world-class concerts and nightlife, is conveniently located near New York city and Philadelphia, and boasts a wealthy population who work for some of the biggest companies in the world?

I've been outside New Jersey. I've always been glad to come back. The rest of the country is mainly bland and lacks diversity of any kind with the exception of some big cities like Chicago, which is an island of culture in a sea of suburban and rural boredom.

New Jersey is one of the "smart" states. People here can think and solve problems. The ones who can't, we ship them off to Florida. New Jersey also offers cultural diversity which can't be found in the vast wasteland that lies between the Atlantic coast and the Pacific coast.

I'm not surprised. There's probably many places that get more rain. The thing here is not so much the rain, it's the unending cloudcover. And really, when it does rain it's mostly on the western side of the Cascades. I actually grew up in Eastern Washington and it's much drier and more prairie like over there.
