The future of meat production???

They have found a way to produce real meat without harming any animals or (in theory) the enviroment. Yet I'm not sure how I feel about it. Seems very unnatural. But then so is factory farming, artifical insemination, genetic engineering, and most current food production and modern life in general. Any thoughts?

Cannabalism is the only way. The first victims should be the vegetarians, as they could be classed as organic, followed by "free range" mogolian nomads. *drools*
I don't think I'd trust lab grown meat, to be honest...

I'll reserve my judgement until I know how a lab-grown porterhouse steak tastes.

As opposed to slaughterhouse, factory processed meat?
As opposed to organic veggies exposed to all the plagues and bugs the world has to offer?
I'd take my lab meat, thank you very much. People don't realize that the word artificial is not bad, that it means that artifice, or skill and talent, went into the production.
Anyway, I've been bugging vegetarians about this possibility for years.

Well considering the amount of chemicals (just look at the ingredients of a bag of doritos) I consume.. I don't think I'll have a problem with it. But there is no way it could taste good I think... I'd stick with free grazed beef..
