I love how dresses and skirts look. I have many. And hardly ever wear them! Pants are just way more comfortable! It drives me nuts wearing skirts and dresses...you have to sit differently, walk differently, and suffer with cold legs if the temperature drops. I choose dresses for more 'formal' or 'dress up' occasions, but I'm sick of getting so little use out of them. I want some posh pants and outfits arranged around pants!

And I want some for tonight! Any suggestions (with pics) of some posh outfits that use pants instead of the aformentioned dresses and skirts???

Any men prefer kilts? They're pretty comfortable and good for mobility. Being Scottish helps, of course.

Skirts DO look good on me, as do dresses, but I just find them to be a pain in the arse unless I know that outfit is going to be torn off in a fit of lust in half an hour anyway.

its hard to live an active life in skirts. gotta keep remembering to not flash the people around you by bending over or scootching down. but its really the SHOES that keep me from wearing dresses more often. i prefer sneakers or outdoorish sandals and they just dont work well with a dress. fancy shoes, pumps, sandals are harder to get around in.

Agreed. I refuse to be tortured with a high heel. Wobbling around like a drunken stork...forget it. Again, not unless the shoes are going to join the dress on the floor in about half an hour. I've found some sexy shoes with a moderate heel that I can stand, and those work fine...and look great with pants too. Plus I tend to get sprawly when I get drunk, and the flashing gets me into trouble.

I plan to get royally, and unsually drunk tonight. I'm quite excited! Plus I think I'll go to a Latin club and do some dancing for the first time in ages. A dress would be a bad idea...easier access for drunken groping, then I have to start trouble.

I will wear a skirt or dress if the occasion requires it, but usually I perfer sporty things! Like, I don't think I look like myself unless I'm in shorts, a t-shirt, and sneakers. :)

I really don't know how to help you....

On skirts...I like long, flowy ones..."peasant" skirts. There's no danger of any accidental butt showings, which can be miserable and embarrassing depending on who you're around....capris are nice things. Not shorts, not long pants...so if you are self-concious in the leg department and you're in a humid area, there's some comfort for you.

Black pants can do the trick. Or is black out of the season? I can be so fashion-dense sometimes.

Lol. Although kilts are very interesting. . .I don't know. They wouldn't be my favorite. Also, this summer I've been wearing lots of skorts. They feel like shorts so they are very comfortable, but they will look great! I don't know how you'd feel taking advice from a 13 year old, tho. Anyways, I wish you good luck!

Are you that dead set on pants? A long skirt or dress is casual and it will attract attention if it's the right color. Plus you won't have to worry about flashing anyone or how you sit. If you're looking for something sexier then get something thats form fitting or thin enough that it shows your shape... dunno what the weather is like up there but you could wear hose if you're worried about being cold.

Regardless, I hope you don't take the suggestion about wearing capris... those things are hideous. I've yet to see anyone who I can say looks better because they're wearing capris.

I lack the motivation to provide a pic of what might look nice tho... sorry :(.

I'm dead set on wearing pants tonight. I haven't gotten really drunk in over 4 years, meaning my limbs are not going to function in an appropriate, and coordinated fashion. Long skirts provide dangerous extra fabric to trip on and fall to my death. Pants are a must!

I be happy with doing away with pants in general, but in a battle where lunatics are swinging razor sharp battle axes and short swords, I would NOT want my stuff out there flopping around. I know pants don't offer protection, but still...

Even a toga doesn't do it in a battle... I wouldn't be 'out there' but I'd still like some restraint during a brutal hand to hand struggle with pointy weapons.

I myself like skirts and/or dresses...they just look nicer...you need to get flowy, long skirts and dresses, not one that don't let you move, if you're worried about the moving factor. And as for cold legs? Get some hose...
