This has been bugging me for a while. This isn't meant to be a game or anything, I just really want to figure out this word, it's been on the tip of my tongue for hours. I have a few definitions for you.

It describes a centrist: ie, a right-winger is a conservative, a left-winger is a socialist, and a centrist is a _____
It is the opposite of a wingnut
It would be the opposite of the word extreme
It can be used to describe Goldilocks' porridge, chair, bed, etc. (the ones that are "just right" ie. not too hot, not too cold, or not too hard, not too soft)

Thanks for the help

A fence-sitter?
You got there before I did. That's exactly how I'd've put it.

*Edit: maybe you mean 'unbiased' or 'non-partisan' but fence-sitter, or 'on the fence' works best for me

I didn't say it wasn't, I just didn't expect an answer that fast. It was moderate, thank you.

The difficult we do immediately; the impossible takes a little longer.

How is moderate the opposite of wingnut?
Well, if you look at Paragraph C-17, Page Q23 of Section 42 in Declaration #38259681337, it will all become sufficiently vague that your eyes will glaze over and you will grant your agreement without further argument.
