In any event. Back on topic, I don't really have a problem with it, though I don't see how it could be any better than the current situation. I mean, I don't really care what anyone's skin colour is, so what race is the majority is kind of... eh, so to speak.

Well...This could be a problem if blacks and hispanics remain so deeply mired in poverty, but that's mainly a cultural issue that should be solved by 2050. (Especially prevailing black attitudes towards education.)

What it would do, though, would mean that there would not longer be a majority at all. Everyone would be a minority. I would assume whites will still maintain a plurality though.

I am Japanese and I happen to love my birth home and its culture, so i guess you don't like the fact we are not "Diverse" enough for you?

It is not a bad thing when they are well educated people. It doesn't matter if they are black, hispanic, white, or blue when we have a society of well informed and educated individuals. One problem is that, as Armandian Cheese stated, education in hispanic and black culture is lacking. This isn't to say that there aren't ignorant rednecks with the same views on education.

The main problem I see, being a Texan my whole life, is the illegal immigrant population rise and the fact that hispanic families continue to have children well beyond their means to support them in an effort to receive more government funding. I had friends in high school who had 7 brothers/sisters. White families, as a generalization, have 2-3 kids due in part to monetary concerns and there are good odds on a boy and a girl. When you have the white families having 2 kids and the hispanic families having 5-7, it's not rocket science to see that the minority will become the majority.

What's the matter? Can't see my sig? I'm pretty damn liberal on matters economic and social.

The US economy isn't weak by any measure. Our GDP continued to grow even through this last recession. Germany, Italy, and France aren't growing at all right now. China's economy is growing, but at an unsustainable rate, and it will have to slow down soon. It's still not equal to the US economy in size.

The main problem with the US economy is that wages and employee benefits are too low. Other than that jobs are available and the economy is growing.

Clearly America isn't dying. Have I made you sad now?

I am not concerned about the racial aspect. I do share the concern of many about the consequences of the 1965 Immigration Act, unchecked illegal immigration, the immigration rate, and whether this is good for our economy and long-term welfare.

According to polls, most Americans are questioning the population explosion and the source thereof.

This would look pretty good from a historical standpoint. World's most militaristically (sp?) powerful nation's power goes from whites to a wide range of minorities from Hispanics to blacks to asians.

Nations that have made HUGE contributions throughout history, such as the UK, France, Germany, Spain, etc. haven't had such a huge amount of minorities in their countries. I don't think.

Now all we need is more minorities in the government. And a minority President.

I admitt I have never been to Japan. But I have Friends that live there. Nobody in his community has acted in a negative manner towards his US background. In fact he is married to a woman from Japan.
Secondly, I help run a Japanese animation convention here in Iowa. a good 1/4 of the people I associate with from this convention have been to Japan. Most of them were disappointed because they went to try to improve their Japanese & when they arrived every they ran into was eager & happy to speak to them, but only in english because they needed the practice with an american. Lastly, I have friends who are of Japanese decent. They are both proud of their country & of their japanese heritage. Yes their are thing we all dislike about America. If you were in Japan I believe you would be just as disgruntled with things there.
