Does anyone here happen to play this game? I just got it the other day and I'm more or less hooked: I'm level 11 already and I got it about 36 hours ago. My character's an Elementalist/Warrior and there actually is a NS clan registered [with a couple rank 20s in it] so...yeah. I'm trying to beef up our numbers a bit.

Anyone who wants to play sometime should TG me for more contact information [I've got AIM and MSN though I dont have an account for the latter yet].

I've only seen the game and read a few articles on it but not yet played it. I do play Diablo so how near it does the game get as far as the features and all..

Was gonna buy it, but only because some friends of mine were playing it... They got tired of it after about two weeks. Nice backgrounds, but the game seems exceedingly tedious. If you enjoy it, great, but I don't recommend it.

Then again, I'm more of a City of Heroes person...

Got it. It installed. Seemed to be working.
Only one problem. When I try to create an account, it tries to connect then asks me to try again in a few minutes.
Is it my internet connection? I had a similar problem with World of Warcraft, but I wondered if it had happened to anyone else.

I got it a little while ago, level 8 here, I got up to like level 7 in the first few days, but I haven't seemed to play it much since, but mainly because everyone in my guild is a higher level than me, therefore I can't help with there quests, which is a bit boring. I think I should switch guild, or just paly non-stop for like a day to get my levels up

If you want you could probably get into the NS guild easily enough; we only have 4 or 5 guys in it so far: I've only played with 2 others. Both were level 20's, so the only real fun was when we went on quests without a healer.

At any rate, I've got a level 5 Warrior/Ranger now that I didn't have when I posted this thread. Heh.

One of my friends really wants the game. It looks really cool, but it would probably kill my computer.

It's incredibly expensive here though. Grr.

Have they played GvG or PvP?

That's where the meat of Guild Wars is. Nothing is more badass then using all those skills to mix and match and create something uber.

My brother plays it, though that will soon end, as my dad's pawning this computer. Ugh.

Level 7 in the first few days? You must have only played about half an hour a day.

Have it, was ok, but all my friends are on WoW. WoW has better mission gameplay but GW has vastly superior PvP capabilities.

I finished the game about a month ago, hadn´t played for a month before that :P Got it the first day, bought collectors edition and I played one beta before that.
Anyway, I´m Schnee Schnappi, lvl 20 warrior/monk. He´s almost 100 hrs old! Yay!

But GW does not have the large scale PVP that WOW has … I like the large scale

Finished the game about a week ago. Haven't had much to do in-game since except I've decided to level up a new character. Haven't even thought about getting Fissure Armor as I'm satisfied with my black-dyed 15k dragon's armor. I used to play FFXI but there were no avenues for soloing or questing on your own. At least Guild Wars allows you a lot more leeway in that sense. Also, alot of my RL friends are playing it.

If you're ever in-game; look for Kevin Harvick, Warrior/Ranger 20 or Casey Novak, Warrior/Monk 8. :)

There's too many damn Warrior Monks in this game. I got the idea about 2 hours into gameplay but quickly scrapped it once I noticed everyone else aparently had the same idea. My first character was an Elementalist/Warrior, which turned out to be a bad choice since I don't imagine his secondary profession would be worth two shits once I got to the Shiverpeaks. My second character, Konrad Althalon, is a level 13 Warrior/Ranger and he kicks ass.

But yeah, I'll need to write these names down: I'm always lookin for folks to quest with.
