According to this article (that came via Yahoo news Alerts) he is. Don't really know how accurate the source is however.
Coded electronic signals bandied in recent days among al Qaeda Middle Eastern elements across secret Internet sites all carry the same message: the supreme leader, Osama bin Laden, has come out of hiding in Afghanistan and set out, or is about to set out, for Iraq.
Wether this is true or not, I honestly do not know. I thought I post this anyway.

Nah, that would be a dream come true for the military.
Hopefully it's true. Actually, that puts a whole new spin on the purpose of invading Iraq; we're trying to attract the terrorists to there, kill or capture them, interrogate them, and then destroy the cells in their places of origin.

slow torture
to escape the torture, he must give us the names and locations of all of his key aides/cohorts...
we verify the accuracy of his info by finding and killing/detaining these key aides.
then we stop torturing, and give him the slug to the brain he'll be wishing for by then...
or say, "trial or death?"

well good, perhaps this can make some lucky pakistani, afghani, irani or iraqi very very rich by turning him in.
think we can get al jezeera to remind everyone just how much money is being offered?

If it's true, what are the odds he's going to get 'martyred'. He isn't long for this world from what I know so it makes sense.

I dont think he'll stop hiding. He'll continue to do his damndest to avoid us. He'll continue to send other to die in the name of his perverted cause.
I'd love nothing more to see his head on a pike. Taking him alive like sadaam isnt in our best interests.

I honestly don't know or care. The fundementalist Islamists know what he wants, and don't need him in or out of hiding to know he waats them to kill innocent people.
As for capturing him, the best idea is for people to focus less on him and more on the cells that do the killing. Bin Laden will never blow himself up. It's better we stop the radicalisation of teenagers in our own countries in the first place.
Of cource i'm not a learned man when it comes to terrorist psycologics (if there's such a word) so theres peobably someone with better ideas than me :(
Perhaps he just needs a fluffle :fluffle:

I answered I don't know, which I don't. But logic would tell me no, he's not. See, it's the little guys who die for the big guys ideas. You'll see Osama in Iraq when you see Bush or Blair there... (I mean without the 10,000 bodyguards) They send people to die, but they never take those chances themselves and that is one of the reasons I dislike them so much. All of them!
