Essentially, what they are saying is that a general thread without a specific subject is considered spam under the forum rules, and will be locked by the Moderators.
There was once a time when I would have done this, but alas. :(
Anyway, you might want to consider starting future threads dealing with specifc content. ;)

I'll go first...on watching the Man in the Iron Mask the other day, I came to the opinion that Gabriel Byrne is quite fine. Even tho he is 35 years older than me I wouldn't say no....

Toast it is then!
Personally I'm fond of cheese on toast, it has to be made with a mature hard cheese, perhaps cheddar, and is sometimes nice with chopped salami placed under the cheese before melting commences! Butter or margarine must not be added!!!!
Another toast based snack I enjoy is toast with butter and marmite!

Toast: lovely any time. Appreciated internationally. Personally, I prefer to use an oven grill to toast my bread than a toaster, as my bread, for one thing, won't fit in a toaster. That's right, none of your pre-sliced rubbish here. Butter, paté and marmalade (not at the same time :p) are my favourite additions to the burnt bread formula.
