Been there. I've got 2 kid 6 and 11.
Cherish the days you have with your kids. They go by sooooo fast.

Man-I know that. I also have a six year old and an 11 year old. Life is going by rapidly.

I am looking foward to saving some $$ on diapers in the next few months. Like $15.00 a week.

Yay! No more diapers for her! At least, not until she's 70-80...

Yeah-til they 85 or so. We took my wife's 90 yr old grandmother in-no diaper though-an in dwelling catheter as well as a colostomy bag.

Man, I wish they made diapers for adults ages 18-70 or something! That would save a ton of money...

Awesome!!!!

I still haven't potty trained my 3 and half year old. I'm intimidated, and avoiding it. :( Any tips?

Hmm... Why did I read "20-year-old daughter" instead of "20-month-old daughter"?

First, congrats CL! I know I can't wait until my baby is toilet trained so I can quit changing diapers! Luckily we got my son toilet trained before she was born so I don't have to worry about changing both of them. I use cloth, so I'm not spending a ton of money on disposables. I use a service, so I don't have to wash them either. I also bought my own, so when she's a little older I'm going to cancel the service. Then I'll just pay for detergent and rice paper liners.

Sin, I don't know if this would work for your daughter, but we just left my son nekkid fromt the waist down. It forced him to use the potty because he knew going on the floor was a big no-no. He lost toys one time after he did it, and that's all it took. Once he was used to going on his potty, we started putting training underwear on him, and he had one or two accidents, but mostly he was already in the habit of running for the potty when he felt the urge. He's been wearing regular underwear since he was three.

Sigh. I know, she's pretty aware of when she needs to go. It's pure laziness on my part, not wanting to clean it up...not like I'm not cleaning it up anyway...I'd better bite the bullet!

Yep--when that happens, nothing else matters all right. Stock market crashes, earthquakes, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria--compared to early success in potty training, all that other stuff is nothing. :D
