Okay, I shall try and make this filled with suspense, because I am evil like that.

Right, so one day I get this email from this friend saying if I join this competition, I can win a whole bunch of stuff. Plus, but joining, I'd increase HIS probability of winning. So I thought 'meh, what the hell' and I joined.

Now the competition went like this.. When you join you get one 'chance.' For every friend you get to join you get one more 'chance.' And since competitions normally promote a product, everytime you answer a question which is based on the SCMP newspaper, you get 5 more chances.

The more chances you have, the more likely you are to win. (probability rules!)

Okay so I joined, not thinking much of it. Every now and then I would get emails saying 'HURRY YOU ONLY HAVE ________ WEEKS LEFT!!' So I'd go to the website and answer a bunch of questions (I'd google the answers, but I wouldn't get many right). In the end I got about 50 chances, while the maximum was 300.

Suspensey. Lane Crawford is an incredibly expensive department store that sells things for say a minumum of $1000. They basically house only designer goods.
