Where the hell do all the threads go?

Seriously, I post in one then 3 days later it's disappeared of the site.

Wtf?

Does this place have that high a turnover, with that many ppl posting? And is there anyway for my to easily find threads that I've posted in without subscribing (don't want lots of email).

Come on ppl, help me out.

There's a search function on the top left.
Ah, one of the reasons I love NationStates. It's almost like chatting... :D

Try adding threads to your bookmarks or favourites list. Or just making a note of the URL.

Bookmarks: yes, that's what I do.

Note the URL: WTF?!? Not only is it easier to bookmark, but there's no chance of you pressing the wrong number and instead of finding the thread about the Mr. Men, you find the thread about your favorite position.

If you make a post and disappear for three days, you'll find your post 15 pages of threads back, in the middle of a 10-page thread. :p

NS is indeed like chat. In fact it moves faster than the irc channels...though that could be because of my block list. :p
