No one's interested and the mods probably won't like it. Delete it.

A polite reminder to not fling random derogatory comments regarding anyone in the forums. That's called flaming.

The smart thing for the wikipedia staff to do is to make all changes subject to moderator approval before they are accepted...

Book-burner.
Book-burner?!!?!?! :D

There's a difference between someone who burns books and someone who just vandalizes them by drawing doodles.

Nah, that completely defeats the point of Wikipedia.

Or perhaps we could all grow up and realise that this website is a good resource and doesn't need people doing stupid things to it.
Don't hold your breath. Some dimwits are noted for being immature, irrational and irresponsible. It's unlikely in the extreme that they will choose to grow up anytime in the forseeable future. :headbang:

Well, not really. They could do it within reason...for example, if a whole page was edited to "LOL FUCK U!!!" or the like, rather than deny actual content.

Actually, I don't see Wikipedia as "a good resource" in that it can be manipulated by partisan hacks.

What's the difference between burning books and changing the content of books you don't like to something that pleases you more? It's just another level of censorship?

It's unneccessary. Wikipedia saves the article at every update, so if someone deleted a massive article and replaced it with "LOL FUCK U!!!" then someone would just come along and copy/paste the previous edit back into the actual article. That's how wikipedia works; having mods controlling content makes it pointless.

Oh, I see, I didn't realise the old content was saved. In that case, I agree.

vandalizing the wiki is the stupidest and silliest idea I’ve ever heard, any way I wonder if there’s ever been a case of Wiki wank?

President Shrub: Promoting the vandalism of another site, especially NSWiki is a horrible idea. To even think that it would be ok to post that garbage here is beyond me. I suggest that you think about what you post, before you do so. It'll save you a lot of trouble.

President Shrub: Official Warning for Trolling

Everyone else, knock off the insults. Just because someone posts something wrong doesn't give you the right to insult them. Take Adejaani's advice.
