I'm in the 21-24 bracket there. Certainly not the 'kewlist' age to lose your virginity at, but the first long term relationship I was in where I did actually want to perform penetrative sex. Of course, if you want to define virginity more losely, such as 'giving/being given an orgasm by another', then that shifts it back a good few years.

I think you misunderstood me.. I meant I lost my virginity to him two months into the relationship.. we were together for two years until unfortunate circumstances (him moving to New York and me being in LA).

That pretty much sums it up. It was nice having my first time with the girl I did, but if I am to believe my therapist, getting laid so late is what kept me from getting over the relationship.

It's weird, when I was in middle school and chatting with my friends about when we'd lose our virginity, and I'd always thought that 17 was the most beautiful age. And now here I am, someone who lost their virginity at 17. Strange, no?

In retrospect it probably wasn't the best it could have been for someone's first time, but I don't believe in regretting things you've done. (Only in regretting not doing anything.) It was with someone quite a bit older than me, we weren't going out, but the connection and chemistry was AMAZING. However he broke whatever was going on off because of religious reasons.

Like I said, not the best experience, but nothing I regret. Actually come to think of it, I'm really glad I did it. Before I'd always stopped because I was afraid of it not being absolutely PERFECT. But now I'm just glad to enjoy the moment.
