Comic-adaptation movies that should be made...

Despite the fact that movie adaptations of comic books, as a rule, suck, there are some that still need to be made.
I, for one, would give up a random body part to see DC Comics' Kingdom Come as a full length feature film, or even multi-part feature film. Assuming it broke the rule and they didn't make it suck, of course. :)
Especially if it was done as pure CG, made in the same style as the graphic novel's artwork. OMG. :D

Jeff Smith's Bone would be too cool... would have to be animated, though.

SGT Fury and His Howling Commandos
I hope they don't put these guys on any covert missions... what with all that howling and stuff. You know.
:)
Frank Miller's Ronin
Seconded!
Also, the Dark Knight Returns, by the same author.
Aliens:Book One., Promethea by Alan Moore (though he'd be dead against it and they'd make a massive hash of it.)
Sandman
Anything by Alan Moore
The Authority

I'm a huge fan of the comics made movies. I love them all, with the exception of Constantine, I didn't care for that much. I don't care if they're cheesy cause well, they're comic books. I thought Punisher rocked!!!
I want to see Marvel's Ghost Rider and Thor.

Er, ahem. :)
Hehe, Phil Foglio's Girl Genius would make an outstanding movie... or maybe TV series? :)

Hell yes! Especially the first one from The Authority:Under new management (electrocuting God, come on that would rule!). Harsh Realities was good too.

You guys could be listening to a streaming broadcast of Judge Dredd (http://www.live365.com/stations/spark1701) radio show right now, if you wanted to.
They first need to make a better version of "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" before they try anything else.
They butchered it the first time! Sean Connery was the only saving grace!

Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of XXXenophile...  :D
However, Stanley and his Monster (even Foglio style) might be able to make PG13... :p

If I didn't know they would ruin it, I would like to see a film version of The Preacher. Of course, they would have to cut a lot of the charm out of the series to get it into two hours. Maybe an HBO miniseries would be better, although it might be a little too close to Carnivale to interest them any time soon.

Sandman
You couldn't make just a single movie out of that though! Is there a particular set you think should be movie material?
I think Powers would make a wonderful movie.
And 1602, but it would only make sense to those who have read other comics. =)
Hrrrm.... I'd have trouble deciding.
Anyway, I am so happy that there is, in fact, a Watchmen movie in production.

Too true - it was awful - it completely missed the ambience and imagery of the graphic novel.
Hmm I dunno how they'd do it but I agree with Koroser that I'd love to see a Sandman movie, but I'd hate it if it turned out like the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
If you could get Tori Amos to play Delirium I might consider it though :D
