After seeing several people claiming to be pro-choice, not pro-abortion, I have decided a similar choice needs to exist for the "What causes homosexuality?" debate, so that people can chose something other than "they choose" or "they all are born with it". I will hereafter call it the conditioning position. Here it is:

Homosexuality can be inborn, that much is proven. While it cannot be "chosen", per se, it can be conditioned by repetitive acts of homosexual sex, just like any other preference.

Bisexuals can be "conditioned", I think. Just as kids sexual preferances in terms of the physical characteristics that they are attracted to can be shaped by what they are exposed to, I believe that sexual orientation can be shaped by the environments we live in. That would explain why some cultures at some time periods have had such high rates of homosexual activity.
