Okay guys, I usually don't post anything this stupid, but this is getting on several people's nerves --- we can't find the name or artist for a song that repeats on the radio about twice a day. So far, we only know the following:
Vocals: Male
Genre: Rock/Alternative
Synth is definitely used; it has a slight techno feel to it.
The chorus includes:
"Run away run away[......]I'd love to[.....]your promises.."
Any hints at all will be greatly appreciated!

Heh, the cloest match in terms of lyrics that I could find is "Shattered Dreams" by Johnny Hates Jazz, and I am fairly certain that that is not the song you refer to.

We're almost certain that it is not 30 Seconds to Mars. That keeps popping up. :(
And yes, Angry Fruit Salad can become Frustrated Fruit Salad very easily.

My two friends are boneheads. They insisted that part of the lyrics were wrong -- until I made one of them play the damn thing. You guys (and every goddamn search engine they sent me to) are right. It IS Attack by 30 Seconds to Mars.
