Horrible airline experiences

Delta.

Ugh... don't even ask... I used them a year ago and was treated like garbage. They didn't offer free meals on a 8 hour flight and told me I had to pay $8 (EIGHT!) dollars for some cheese and crackers... The seats were so badly uncomfortable and there wasn't enough room to put my legs.. I'm pretty tall too... they also lost my sister's luggage not once but twice (it got misrouted and got sent elsewhere). It took two weeks for her to get her luggage (we went to Italy, and she had one month... so that's half of her vacation.. luckily she had clothes at my parents place). And then when she went back to LAX, they lost her luggage again. That time it took 3 damn weeks to get it to her.

The reason I brought this up is because I saw this article:

Personally I hope they go bankrupt.

I fly Delta all the time out of Atlanta and am pleased to say I have never had more pleasing experiences from any other airline. As for being cramped thats to be expected if you're sitting in coach. (im over 6'3" so I know). But just because most of my experiences have been nice with Delta doesnt mean I havent had my share of terrible flights. One time I was on my way back from Dallas and was unfortunately riding in coach (I fly first class if I can help it). Anyways, my knees were right up against the chair in front of me and the woman decided to put her chair back, well since im so tall she couldnt quite put it back all the way because of my legs. Then she had the nerve to lean back and ask me if I could move my legs, at this point I was like, "wtf lady." Anyways, I ended up getting up and moving to the back of the plane where there were no people. (it was 3:30 in the morning and the plane was less than half full) So the rest of the flight went fine since I got to streach out and have some sleep but when I got to Atlanta I was too tired to remember that my carry on was underneath my seat! By the time I realized I had forgot it it was too late. Eventually I got it back, (3 months later) but when thats the worst experience I've had on an airline I can honestly say thats pretty good. But dont get me started on NorthWest... ugh.

I'm 6 foot one, and I fly on useless air most of the time (good luck trying to get to your destination on time), the seats are simply too small, especially if you have a carry on that goes under your seat. I got stuck on a full plane to Maui (12ish hours) with no leg room at all. I can see how people get into problems with blood clots. The best airline that I've ever flown on would have to be southwest, the seats seemed wider and better spaced (a puddlejumper has the equivelent leg room of a jumbo, which is saying quite a bit) and they were funnier...

My worst experience of airline service is having an 18 hour delay for a flight because they 'lost' the plane, dont ask me how they did it.
