Either, I'm a fan of almost all of the entire genre of women. Almost all of it.

I'd like to think I wouldn't limit myself like that. I can see how both could be attractive.

Breasts are lovely, but they needn't be big, or indeed any bigger than small. Flat-chested to many is apparently a problem. Not me. It's all about proportion and whether or not I can get my arms all the way around her. Affection shouldn't be too affected by morphology, unless it's grossly disporportionate or otherwise out of whack (which is why women with fake tits such as Pamela Anderson will be forever unattractive, and in fact repulsive to me).

What a woman needs to be mostly, is herself. Honesty helps.

I've met one couple that partially fits that description. They were conservative bordering on NeoConism, they didn't drink and I'm pretty sure they would have shot you dead for the above comment.

That was when food was a major commodity and when you couldn't just pop into a 7-11 and grab a bag of cheese poofs. Now what is valued is fitness of the body, as a sign that you have the time and (sometimes) money to work out and stay healthy, in the same way that what was valued then was a sign that you did not have to do manual labour and had plenty to eat (i.e. "A little junk in the trunk.")

Fact, most runway models are rail-thin. The camera adds ten pounds, and if you see them in real life you would not believe how skinny they are. I'm sure there are some busty runway models, although I bet most of them are considered "plus-size" or whatever.

I'm not making any political statements though so you have found the wrong place for the chip on your shoulder. Not that this poll is scientific, but a decisive majority of the men on this board chose option a). I know there are straight men who prefer skinny women but I think the ultrathin model look is driven more by women and gay men. I mean, it's not like straight men are exactly in control of the fashion scene.

I agree that there are a high percentage of gay men in fashion, but the real question is who's behind the consumer driven issue of "fashion" that makes people feel like they can't be complete/beautiful/socially acceptable with out the latest accoutrement - and that's fashion houses that thrive on insecurity and they have more than their fair share of rich straight men in their ranks.

(Oh and in my brief phases when I have a more than platonic interest in the ladies, I always go for A, but I'm talking a proper rubenesque A. I like my women healthy looking not a stick insect that needs to have a head to head conversation with the toilet bowl at the mere smell of food, but also not someone who actually looks like Roseanne Barr and calls themselves "rubenesque")

Have never cared for overly thin women which is what seems to be the "in thing" unfortunately. Definately prefer women with some meat on her :) No question about that one. Actually given the choice between the two Id lean more to the overweight then "model" thin ones any day. :fluffle:

Well, someone who works in the industry can probably tell me this better, but my impression is that white straight white men might be pulling in the money from the fashion industry, it's gay men and women who are deciding what will and will not be fashionable. Of course it's a stereotype but stereotypes are true more often than people give them credit for.

And yes, if a woman calls herself "rubenesque" she is probably fat. And if a woman is genuinely reubenesque she probably calls herself fat. The female mind is a strange, strange thing.
