I'm glad Bolton was able to finally get there despite the Democrat's filibustering. Maybe he'll shape up the UN, so we aren't forced to leave it like the corrupt and useless mob it is. It's where the internationalist gentlemen go to commit organized crime.

Now for Roberts, and finding a good replacement for Rehnquist and maybe even Stevens.

If I ran a company that belonged to a trade group, I would choose someone who believes in everything that trade group stands for to go represent my company in that group. I would not choose someone who has criticized the very existence of that group.

Bolton is a terrible choice for that position. I wish that Bush had not destroyed Colin Powell's career. The pre-Bush administration Powell would've been perfect for a position like this one.

Absolutely correct. It is fascinating why so many in the U.S feel they can do what ever they like anywhere, anytime in the world.
Is it because you have so many awesome nukes? Economic power? General " we are better than you"?
The whole point of the U.N is to not have guys like Bolton there, you have to negotiate, if you follow the rules.
