I have to admit, I'm really starting to find this all rather amusing. Now the Canadian foreign minister is "allowing" Danish pastries to be served in it's cafeteria as a goodwill gesture towards the Danes..lol Well it could be worse, at least we're not calling them "Freedom Danish".. hehe.

Well, if push ever came to shove, (which I doubt it will) Canada could crush Denmark like a bug. We have triple the size of their military not to mention a much larger Navy and better staging ground for war.

However, knowing the two nations, I have a feeling it will be settled in some sort of world court tribunal. We just are not the war type for such a stupid reason. I don't think Denmark is either, but hey, who knows!

Oh and sorry to hear about the Pizza. ;)

That paper actually wrote that the guy wasn't selling pizzas to Germans anymore because of Germany's involvement in Iraq!

Well given we're both members, I doubt they'd take sides. Besides, like I said, Denmark can't take Canada, no chance. So I assume it would be over rather quickly.. except we'd have to worry about those dangerous Danish insurgents.. lmao! :p

I was trying to make a little comparison--two of my acquaintances named The Final Cut as the worst PF album and Ummagumma as the best, and I was looking whether it is a universal rule.

My favourite is Animals, and the picture from the the album cover serves as my avatar on some Russian Internet forums. :) A Momentary Lapse of Reason is IMHO the worst.

I say we invest aggressively in satellite technology that'd allow us to monitor our northern territories like hawks. Expand the navy (not the entire armed forces, IMO) to allow a continual presence in the north, in order to demonstrate to Danes, Yanks and Russkies alike that that's our damn patch of windswept rock, yumpin' yiminy!

Denmark isn't getting the Island. Canadian foreign minister basically has said as much. Besides, those soldiers didn't go put that Canadian flag up for giggles, they were in uniform, thus following orders.
