Yah, it's true.
I remember Lucy Yang from channel 7 news interviewing "mike hunt" on the street.
Goes back to what I said about college earlier.
calling int "lo-dong" was priceless

The title of this post could just as well have been:

Not just American reporters. The People's Daily picked up, and ran with a story from The Onion not so long ago. When reporting stopped being a noble worthwhile profession, would-be professionals stopper pursuing careers in it.

This is a good one about a Sydney radio announcer who bitched & moaned about a satirical news story. It's not only American journalists who are gullible.

That was pretty funny. I'm wondering which company was doing the broadcast, since it was a Tulane-Louisville game.

Hee, pretty funny. Gullibility, however, is far from limited to American reporters. I'm not really concerned about reporters believing everything they hear; it's more distressing when the general population does...

If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times: People are stupid. It's not just American reporters; it's also non-reporters and non-Americans.
And yet, people still find it surprising and noteworthy when stupid people do stupid things. Still more proof that I'm right.

She owes her producer a beat down. I mean, come on, how did they even get on camera?
