Uhh really 3.14 is as far as it ever got with me!
I was in this school about a month ago that had pi taped as a boarder going aroud the whole school...i must tell you i was shocked to discover that pi consited of more than just 3 numbers

If one were to find the circumference of a circle the size of the known universe, requiring that the circumference be accurate to within the radius of one proton only 39 decimal places of Pi would be necessary.

If you got the HDD space I have the first 10 billion done so far ... but I get some errors with my program after that so once they are ironed out ...

I can tell you the ratio of a circle's diameter to its circumference to an arbitrary number of decimal places....as long as you let me define the surface.
3.14 is all I know. I don’t have a good memory for numbers, though. I have a hard enough time remembering my phone number, much less a bunch of numbers that are useless to me.

For my Calculus class, I had to know pi to 15 decimal places, but all I care about is 3.14...For a song about pi, look up "18 Wheels On A Big Rig" (I think by Todd Snyder, but I'm not sure).

I believe the Bon-Jovi haired, ultra-rockin' uber-mathematicians of the 80's MegaBand "Warrant" had this Rad Mama calculated out to approximately the 80 billionth digit when they penned the lyrics, "She's mah - Cherry Pi!!!!".
Or anyway, that's what I learned in homeschool from my brother Ethra. He was right about that whole Earth-Around-the-Sun thing, and the Great Mary Kate Olsen Conspiracy of '04, so I'm pretty sure that's the straight poop.

By a strange coincidence, it is exactly the amount of decimals I have memorized.
And when my friends ask me "pie?" This is the exact number of decimals I answer them with, even if they try to cut me off before.
I had a lot of time to loose during high school. That was only one of my pet projects.
