I remember making a thread a while back (right about the beggining of summer, I believe) asking what show which had only about 1 or 2 seasons on the air ended too soon. Of the choices I provided on the poll, Wonderfalls was (I thought) a suprisingly popular choice. In fact, I think it was the most popular. Well, the good news is Wonderfalls is back! The bad news? It's on Logo, and I won't be able to see it. I don't know rather to be happy for the show or upset because I won't be able to watch it. Perhaps I can get a friend to tape it for me or something.

But, for those who do get Logo, congratulations, because Wonderfalls is the next best thing to Joan of Arcadia, and, IMO, Joan of Arcadia ROCKED!

I consider myself too TV savvy for my own good, and when I hear Logo, I'm thinking about turtles drawing lines.

Logo: The gay and lesbian channel-because Bravo wasn't already gay enough, and Oxygen wasn't already lesbian enough. :p

LOL! You a trip, woman! ;)

IMHO, Desperate Housewives should be renamed to Desperate Spoiled Brats! :D

They've cancelled it?! Aww, maaaaan! I love that show. We're always a season or so behind on US shows, so it's still on here.

I will hold you Yanks personally responsible for this. By not watching great shows you are thereby complicit in their cancellations! I will do so for the next five minutes, while bitterly starting to trawl torrent sites for the remaining episodes of J of A.

Damn you American public, damn you to Florida for always doing this to me!

Is that the show where statues and shit start talkin' to the chick and she has to help people to shut them up?

I think I saw the pilot.

High concept shows are always a little tricky. If they can make it to a third season without wearing thin it's usually a miracle.

Yeah, that's the one.

See, Fox saw Joan of Arcadia and they were like, "Oh, shit, that was a great idea! What do we do to counter it?" and they picked up Wonderfalls, sort of a weird, whacky, extreme version of Joan of Arcadia.

However, soon after it got picked up, they realized that having a character "become" a lesbian the first episode might not have been a good idea... and as the show became more and more bizzare in the few episodes (something like 2-6?) they aired, they were like, "Oh, crap, drop it!"

Then Logo came along, not quite existant yet but gearing up to be. They were like, "Oh, cool, there's a lesbian on this show and look how random everything is! Let's pick it up!"

And then I was like, "Oh, Wonderfalls is back. WTF? Wonderfalls gets picked up before Joan of Arcadia? What the hell are Hollywood execs smoking? And why does it have to be on Logo! Maybe if Wonderfalls comes back and it's popular, some other station will renew Joan of Arcadia. I DON'T HAVE LOGO! But at least Wonderfalls isn't dead. Wow. I'm not sure HOW I feel about this." And then I made this thread.
