The first thing I did this morning when I woke up was log on and check my bank account. It was full of money! Yayyy! [ does a little dance ]
Well, relatively "full," that is, compared to how it has been every month about this time for a long, long time. :)
You're all invited to help me celebrate ( yes, you too Fass! ;) ). I'll meet you all at the local watering hole ... and everything's on me! Can't beat that with a stick, now can ya? LOL!
Tomorrow I'm going to actually enjoy running around to pay bills! Amazing!

Grrr, I don't have a job any more, I got fired because I had the audacticy to not come into work on a day I had been approved off two months in advance for. It turns out my boss erased my name from the request off book and said I never requested off. And he changed the work hours schledule to make it look like I had work. Grrrrrrrrr...

I wish that for you too. Mine came not a moment too soon; they were getting ready to repossess my lil home. I had nowhere else to live, so the issue was a rather critical one for me.

:D I live at home, and my parents have been nice enough not to start charging me rent (although they have threatoned) so currently I'm boarding and sometimes eating for free. A decent amount of my $$ will end up in my savings account thanks to that fact :D
I still don't know what I'm saving for yet, but when I do I'll have already saved for it ;)

Now, Zooke, you know very well that would be totally impractical. For one thing I wouldn't have the money to move all the way out there, and for another I prefer to say near my kids and grandchildren. :p
Just by way of explanation, yes, some of my children would tell me I could move in with them, but I don't want to do that. They have enough problems of their own without having a crusty, old fart like me around to deal with! :)

Hey, thats what I had for lunch today. And dinner last night.
It was fresh on Monday. MMmmm, its scrumptulcent. It's the only way to go when your semi-broke.
I have $2,150.73 in my checking account today. FRIDAY on the other hand, it will be much smaller, once rent, car payment, AND car insurance go through all at the same time.
Savings account is different, but psh, I want a new car. I can eat chinese for three or four days in a row. It's still good...kinda...

Hmm... My pay sucks for one of my jobs. Seriously 51 hours of work makes 280$ I mean tell me about un-liveable, that is 2 weeks.
Then my job as aquatic directour gives me boat loads. 30 hours of work makes 852$ that is just four days.
P.s. Good for you Etrusca. That is always nice :D

Yea, you don't need a job like that. There's plently of better stuff out there.
You can always work as a day laborer for a few days. Work sucks, but compaired to being a clerk somewhere, pay is ok. Just try to make sure you get picked up by a semi-honest guy, or else you're screwed.
