Shower.
You don't have to wait for the tub to fill up.
You don't have to add more water later when it gets cold, because water is added all the time.
You can save water if you shower a short enough time.
You don't swim in the dirt that got washed off of your skin.
You can have one every day without wasting too much time.
You get the wonderful experience of water drumming on your head, flowing down your body.
It doesn't make such a mess when you shower with someone else than if you took a bath together :D
It makes taking a bath so much more special and relaxing. Perfect for when you need something special to cheer you up.

showers are probably better, but baths have their good qualities - then again i might be brainwashed after living here 10 years without a working shower...

wasting time in a bath (jn the morning) is a great way to start the day relaxed and laid back :)

Bath, definitely. Showers give you brain damage (http://www1.wfubmc.edu/News/NewsARticle.htm?ArticleID=1633). Although this piece of research did come from Wake Forest University Baptist medical centre -- is it possible to trust anti-shower research from such an obviously pro-bath source?

I live in Germany, we have notoriously good water.

Both have their merits. Showers are quick and convenient, but baths are long and relaxing (even better when shared!). Overall, I'd say shower due to its convenience.

shower, for all the reasons stated by everyone previously, but i do like skinny dipping in lakes when ive been climbing in the mountains, which is kind of like having a bath in a huge, freezing, deep bath.

Bath, if it's like a giant hammam or Roman style, but otherwise showers are better.
