Ricky Martin, on a tour of the Middle East, has vowed to change the perception of Arabs in the west. Presumably he will alter their image to resemble his own, a vapid and irrelevant closeted gay pop idol. He also inadvertantly endorsed Arab control over Jerusalem.

Can we leave him there?

Please God, say yes...

To be fair though he did apologise for his "endorsement" as you put it. I can understand how that mistake could be made.

I would've laughed harder if he was trying to change the view of Americans in the Middle-East.

With his songs, I think the terrorists would just use their nuke on him instead. ;)

Oh, I'm not trying to be fair. Think of me as General's own tabloid. I'm not the NY times, I'm the National Enquirer

This is PR at work. Resuscitating dying careers 101: nothing like a nice little scandal to put you back in the spot light.

The problem is, it's rubbing off. The Backstreet Boys are coming back, and we'll see the 4th or 5th iteration of N'SYNC sometime soon.

Oh, goody. I'll just have to keep my radio and TV off of mainstream channels for a couple more years.

I don't know, they may have...evolved. Be careful. :(

I think a jihad against him would be acceptable under the given circumstances.

You see this is why God allows terrorism to exist - the extremely low but omnipresent possibility that one of them might kill Ricky Martin while he's in the Middle East.
