A little economic experiment

Ok, here's the plan. You lot all go out and find a roughly average price in your area for globally available products. For example, a bottle of Coke. You post the prices here, in your own currency and in sterling (just to make things easy for me), and then we see what areas of the world are getting ripped off.
Here's a small list to begin with, but feel free to add more - but please make sure they're available pretty much worldwide. There's not much point in an American telling the world the price of something only available in America, now, is there?
So:
A bottle of Coke (500 ml) (82p)
The new Harry Potter book (reccommended retail price or the lowest you can find, but tell us which) (£16.99 (rrp), £6.99 (lowest))
A pint (or half litre) of a popular lager...Stella, Budweiser, something like that (£1.70)
Loaf of bread (79p)
Pint (half litre) of milk (38p)
The prices in brackets are the ones that I've found in my area (south east England).
