i think they should let cornwall go. then it would be wales ireland scotland england north ireland and cornwall.

I'll support you, just support an independant Northumbria.
We could go back to Mercia, East Anglia etc.

The Home Counties would certainly have the most to gain. Wales, Northern Ireland and Cornwall would essentially become third world nations if they left the Union, and Scotland would become a 2nd world nation. The Home Counties, on the other hand, would experience a massive increase in prosperity as they no longer have to pay taxes to prop up Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Cornwall.
