I love this comic! Anyone else? He is a viking who is afraid of his wife, Helga, and often goes off to raid England. Written by Chris Browne, he is translated into 13 languages and charms readers in 58 countries.

I am a Fan, know him since 17 years, btw, the "1 beer offered question": what is the name of his thin, stupid looking friend and the dog? :)

I think it's hilarious, but unfortunately, I don't keep a regular tab on him.

It's good, but not hysterical, imo.

It's a good comic but Dilbert and Foxtrot are better.

Meh. I haven't ever paid much attention to it, primarily because what attention I've paid has never been rewarded by anything I've found remotely funny. If you're looking for good comics, then you would have stopped reading the paper after Calvin and Hobbes went OOP.

I've read Hagar every chance I could, especially during the days when Chris's father Dik was writing the strip (Dik Browne created Hagar BTW.)

Lucky Edie

But for the second, you've to guess the dog's name to. :)

I think it is excellent that people are taking an interest in vikings. And if you have a viking nation, why not join 'the viking realms', we have zany adventures and keggers and all of that other stuff... also our region is dying and without new members we'll be obliterated...
remember, in the Viking Realms, everyone is funny, or at least amusedly insane

oh, and Hagar is funny, I cant stand Pirahnna Club (sp?) though

I don't understand Dilbert.

The dog is named Snert. 99% sure

Lucky Eddie, not Lucky Edie. And the dog's name is definitely Snert.

I read it everyday. Not the best, but better than most.

My favorites are either "The Far Side" or "Calvin & Hobbes".. Shame author of Calvin and Hobbes retired though, but I think he retired at his prime, so it never could go downhill but be remembered as one of the best newspaper comics of all time. Smart.
