Germany has no stages to go thru so they have an advantage but there recent run of form tells me they have no chance!

Id put Money on Germany.
I dont watch it for the Big teams but for how the little iant Killer Nations do(Nigeria,Paraguay,Spain*,Korea etc)
Besides Australia suck and New Zealand have been to a World Cup(Which Wasnt Rugby!)

I think you will make semis to be honest, but I really think an on form brazil will just tear anyone else apart.

Spain's got to win one eventually, but with Raul playing the way he is... it wont be 06, I'm afraid.
Since half of the Brazilian squad play for Real Madrid, I'll support Brazil in 2006.

I expect Brazil, Argentina, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic to make the semis. Brazil stands a good chance of winning, but the Czechs are in top form, and I wouldn't count the other two out either.

Oh, and I'll be mainly watching how the 'small' teams do, and hoping they create a few surprises... Ghana for World Cup champions! ;)
It's Brazil's tournament to lose really. But I think that Portugal is one good starting striker away from having a contending team. They're almost as good as anybody in every position except striker and they've got a briliant manager.
I don't think England has the team or the manager for it.

as from Ireland I would love them!! But of coures its not likly and I would be happy if they got to the quarters like they do a lot!! So I will say ENGLAND!! I have a feelin they will win!!
Brazil all the way on current form, age of players and every which way you look. England are sentimental favourites but will go out in quarterfinals, as will Argentina :sniper: and Spain. :sniper: Germany, Netherlands and Czech Republic will complete semis line up
Watch out for Japan and Korea too. World champions from Africa anyone?
