Anyone in here play BHD? I play it often and enjoy it much better than NS. I come on NS to pass the time now when I dont feel like playing on BHD. Post here and please no flaming.

If I had been one of those guys who lived through that and lost brothers in it, I would be a little uneasy about joystick jokeys 'playing' my experience for kicks.

But that's my issue, and I'm not one of those guys and I have no idea how they really feel about it. So since it's on me and not anything else I don't play it. Everyone else has their own mind to make up.

I agree, there is just something disturbing about replaying something like that. It seems there are more creative places to take one's imagination as well. Then again, that is just my opinion.

You could say the same about World War 2.

I played the single player mission to get a feel of what it was like in somalia. I had a great respect for them in the first place but it grew when i found out how they had to struggle through the whole way. Wasnt easy. I get my enjoyment out of it through multiplayer.

And the JO part, I never liked the Demo so i never got it. I do have Delta Force: Xtreme but i never play it cause its too laggy and the players in there are the laggiest I have ever seen in servers.

I played the demo of BHD but it wasn't that great, I'm not really a fan of FPSs anyway.

Nope, I played DF2, and even bought DF:LW, but the latter did it in for me. I found the game to just end up being crap.
And I missed my ghillie suit.
So I never bothered with DF:BHD

Finished it ages ago, and some missions are nasty.

Game wise it's pretty good. It had some nice touches. Some of the stuff like in advertently blasting a rock throwing civilian sort of made me a little uneasy. Normally, I'd go out of my way to exterminate everything in an FPS, but the nearness of that history, it made it a little f'd up I killed one of the civilians, even if they did throw rocks.

The ammo conservation, and the room entry was pretty nice, the way it built dramatic tension with the way the save system worked.

Some parts were a little Hogan's Alley, but what'cha gonna do.

Some of those last missions were real beasts.

The last missions that they hid until you beat the others were the hardest. I played on Hard level so it was even harder. Followed the actual events pretty closely. I had to do a report on it for US History.

I played Delta Force 2, the laggiest, glitchiest game ever but still pretty fun. I played the BHD demo when it was released and I really liked it. It reminded me of Counterstrike. It's good but not GREAT.
