Since an incredibly large number of people in the "A question for Christians"-thread answered that purple or blue is their favourite colour, I decided to check averages.
So far, I thought that I was rather exceptional with my colour-preferences and that thread kind of scared me...

So, what is your favourite colour?

Why is it I can see this somehow being turned into a subject for flamers?lol

My fave two are black and blood red. Closely followed by blue.

First of all, never assume you are exceptional.

Second, I find having a favored color to be quite inefficient. For me, it’s whatever is cheapest.

In General, everything is a potential flame.

Blue. No clue why, but it has been since I first understood colors.

Shades of Blue.
Orange has been catching my eye recently... but blue will probably always be my favorite color when it comes down to it. As for inside the house, say the kitchen .. I prefer pastel greens, yellows, peaches, blues or purples. On a car ..deep dark metallic (midnight) blue, green, silver/steel, black or orange.

Teal. Then turquoise and similar shades. But of those, purple.

I do not have a favorite colour, but my favorite color is green.

My favourite colour is Yellow.

Well, I'm going to a wedding this week wearing a dark purple shirt with a cream tie (:eek:) so I'll go with purple. Although I like most colours, except fluorescent green/pink/anything.

"Pink" is not a poll option. I refuse to vote.

Hmm, I suppose I like green the most, but I find it depends on what the colour is being applied to. I also like white, burgundy and blue. I kind of like pink too, in moderation.

From the List I picked purple, but I like muted shades better. NOT pastels !! Just muted shades of purples, greens, blues, browns and reds

Hmmm... when I voted, the bar for black was red, the bar for white is blue, and so on. Woulda been cool if the bars for the poll actually corrusponded to their colors. Oh well.

It depends what thing the color is on. A car, a house, a dog etc.,

i agree with you on that, it makes no sense having favourites.
however, when you only wear black, everything matches.

Varies from time to time. Today, my favorite color is Red.

Would it kill the spirit of this thread if I said many people don't consider black and white to be colors? ;) Crimson is my favorite color, by the way.

You're right. I mostly call black a color, except when I am technical (rarely for colors/useless things).

Technically black is a shade, while white is a tint. Grey/Gray is just gray/grey.

I like Black.. what is the point of putting a * instead of a u? People know what you are saying anyway. Don't you get tired of the same old words? You could say something creative like "Limburger" instead.
