How do you like my dumb idea for dealing with captured terrorists?

Ok, so here's my dumb idea. When we capture a terrorist and he's about to be sentenced to death, life in prison, whatever, we offer him a choice. He can take the normal sentence, or he can try to survive for 5 rounds in the ring with a UFC fighter like Chuck "The Iceman" Lidell. (see picture below)

Chuck will be trying to kill the terrorist with his bare hands. The terrorist need only survive for 5 rounds and he recieves a 15 year sentence instead. Of course the fights will be televised for free.

Sorry, I don't find boxing and the like entertaining. I work in medicine, so I see how stupid violence is first hand.
It is certainly… interesting. But I’m all for deporting them, and telling their home countries to punish them. Since most of them come from Saudi Arabia, that is not an appealing proposition for them. Most terrorists will be even more scared to get caught if they think they’ll actually have to deal with the punishments they’re own people dish out.

How about beating the crap out of them first, then deporting them to Saudi Arabia? Best of both worlds, and it would be nice for some people to get revenge.

How true is that story? Was it in Philiphines or somewhere?
I read that he only did that once and made sure the news spread.
However, it is not possible now with the "squeamishness" of our societies and fear of "offending" muslims.
But I read that the Israelis are planning to display pig lard prominently in public places and also in buses to deter suicide attacks.
Any Israeli here who can confirm that?
