LMFAO awesome idea dude... people are so original these days, it amuses me immensely. and, im sorry to say FMBE, good charlotte and simple plan aren't classic punk. they are pop punk, and they're too new to be classic yet. And, some one has to stand with me about this one, Led Zeppelin is the best rock band ever. I personally don't like punk very much, so i can't say what the best punk band is, but w/e, i don't think it's simple plan. I tried my hardest not to flame and to be nice, so yeah, good luck with the rest of this thread

I disagree. Grunge (particularly in the early days when it was obscure) is basically an extension of hardcore. Check out the album "Bleach" by Nirvana.

I meant grungy small g rather than Grunge.
Punk was angry and often crap but it didn't matter 'cos it was live and furious.
It was, mostly, a lot limper and less focused (more commercial) when it was exported to the US then re-imported to the UK and elsewhere.

TISM's lyrics can be very clever & witty. I'm not much of a fan of their music though, I think it's pretty weak. They are good for a laugh though.
