Let the Ashes commence...

Yes, it's that time again.
The Ashes have begun at Lord's in England.
Who do you think will win? For years now it seems this will be the most equally matched series...
Name your reasons.
=============================================
For all those that have no idea what I am talking about...

Do bother to have a look, as it is actually quite an amusing little anecdote that got this business started....

i agree this is the most evenly matched series in a long while, and its probably our best chance too. was it really wise to swap thorpe for that new guy whos name ive forgotten? and besides, he sounds extremely australian to me.

England does have a strong team this time around, but Australia is hitting form at the right time. Langer, Ponting, Martyn, Gilchrist, and to a lesser extent Hayden, are all getting into top form. McGrath and Lee are bowling well, while Warne hasn't had much of a bowl yet.

Vaughan and Strauss are good batsmen for England, but can they defeat the Australian top-order?

Australia is my vote.

Meh, I'm not a big fan of the Australian Team. Nor the English for that matter.

I liked the Pakistanis when they were on their tour in Oz last Summer. Afridi! Yay!

Anyways, Langer and another guy....can't remember his name now are out too.
83-4.

EDIT: Let me correct myself...87-5.

Lol nice one mate, no i dont really think the England captain is good enough, but ya know, not my choice
