That's hilarious. Though I'm sure some people will say it's a proven link between video games and violence, now. ;)

Hilary Clinton probably already got the memo. ;)

Although I think the guy probably faked it.

"OMG! Some guy just broke into my house! I know what to do! Tell random STRANGERS on the INTERNET to call the police! Over xfire! Yeah!"

What're the chances of the right cops being called on? What if this guy is American and he told a Canadian to call the cops? Well wouldn't that be a bitch?

The guy has internet connection, counter-strike, headset/microphone...but he can't call the cops by himself?

lol...shuddup, Colodia. I would be just the guy to do that. Except it'd most likely end with crashing sounds, me yelling at them for interrupting my gaming time, a groan, a thud, and my getting back and saying "You guys didn't hear a fucking thing. You hear that? Not a fucking thing. Now, back to Counter Strike." ;)

I'm guessing he did call the cops, not that someone called them for him (which you seem to be thinking).

"Dammit..."

*shouting in the background*

"GET DOWN! GET THE FUCK DOWN OR I'LL FUCKING BLOW YOUR BRAINS! PUT MY GODDAMN T.V. BACK WHERE YOU FUCKING PICKED IT UP FROM! NOW DUST IT BITCH!"

*random pleas for lives from three men are heard*

"YOU THINK THIS SOME GAME? WELL YOU JUST LOST BITCHES!"

*shots fired*

*gags are heard*

*thump*

*gets back to game*

"Anything good I missed guys? Uh oh...did some BITCH just SHOOT me while I was out?"

LMAO....What's sad is, my girlfriend would say I'd do that...or she'd do that, and say, "Now go back to your game, dear."

One of the replies ..

Yup, this one couple got sued because a thief got stuck inside their garage when they were on vacation for a week and had to live on dog food. He sued them and won.

Rofl. I'd love to know if that was true or not.

There is a real case where a thief broke in from a skylight, fell onto a kitchen knife, sued, and won. So...I'd not be surprised if that was true.

After the whole "Spilt McDonalds coffee" incident...are we still getting surprised?

No, since I'm misanthropic and very cynical.

I'd just be surprised if the person in the story I linked to was actually arrested. O.o That'd make no sense.

You know what would make even LESS sense?

If the home intruders took turns playing CS on the guy's computer.

...Yet, in my surreal, strange life, it'd happen. Now I need to get someone to break into my house.

Excuse me for a moment.
*me leaves game*
...
*quietly:* Excuse me, sir, I think that's my TV you're holding.
*You hear someone screeching in pain and begging for mercy.*
I said, mine. Put it down.
*Screech becomes howling.*
Clean it.
*Howling in pain goes on this entire time.*
Thank you.
*dull thud in background*
*sound of explosion*
....
Now, back to the game...Hope you recorded a transcript while I was off. ;)

The amusing part is that I don't even have a TV...

They'll mistake your 11-year old computer monitor for a cheap T.V. :D
