I recently heard that women who are ovulating are more likely to cheat if they are near an "alpha" male. While this may be true or just plain ridiculous, it made me wonder how many people think there are acceptable reasons or "excuses" for cheating.

Honestly, not me.

If I've got such an attachment (even physically) to someone else and so little respect for my partner to cheat, I might as well just not be tied down in the first place. I'd leave my partner and go buckwild.

But that's just me. I'd rather end the relationship over cheating, regardless of how great my girl really is.

I'm not aware of any reason. Unless it doesn't mean this:

Ovulation is the horniest time of the month as far as most women are concerned (but women on the pill don't get the same spikes and lows in their sex drives). So that means it's ok for us to cheat when we're hornier than usual? I don't think so. If the only reason a woman isn't cheating on her SO is because she's not very horny, something's wrong. We should be able to control ourselves, and that means not having adulterous sex even when we really want to.
Ovulation is a reason for cheating, or rather, a reason for when a woman might cheat. A reason is not by any means an excuse. Cheating is, as far as I am concerned, inexcusable.

Okay, fine I cheated. Sheesh, the game would have taken eighty hours without the cheats. I don’t have that kind of time. :D

In all seriousness, if having an “Alpha male” around excuses cheating, I guess its okay to start flinging our feces at each other.

By accepting a person as your partner in a relationship you are accepting a great amount of responsibility. If you do not desire this responsibility stay with porno, stay alone, do not spend time with a person that you do not feel is worthy of this loyalty.

I think people should be faithfull to their boy/girl friend, unless the person who your with, is only with you for money/sex. Then resume dating cheap flouses on the side. :p If you truly love your spouse then don't try to talk about your relationship and comitment, don't have sex but go on romantic dates, let them know you love them but don't get physical.
