It is a big issue in my life lately.
For once it's not me with all the sex threads! HA CARNIVOROUS, YOU SEE THAT!!??
Do I even need to make a fashionably late appearance here?

I'm physically attracted to women.
But I have no physical or emotional aversion to the male form.
But I learned quite some time ago that having sex with men wasn't what interested me; It was having sex.
Having sex with a woman I truly cared for, on the other hand, is a far more pleasing experience.
So I am monogamously heterosexual.

Sexual orientation is a bother, I mean on top of having to figure out what your own actually is, you also have to deal with the quagmire of other people and the risk that you might be asked for help/advice on the subject. Even worse of course is when you encounter someone who is very obviously completely whack-job lunatic, in denial, or just plain confused.... And somehow befriend them....

Gaining another friend..how is that a bad thing? If they are crazy, and you aren't, you are in the position to have a positive influence on that person.
Besides, if you befriend them, aren't you the one with the problem? I mean, you knowingly befriended a lunatic, you must have some issues.

Yeah, I have issues. And besides, it's more just plain *****ing on my part than anything else. I actually enjoy seeing how crazy people can be. Until they turn out to be basically compulsive liars. Then Hulk want smash. But in most cases it's just bothersome because I still have no idea how to approach the situation, and I hate leaving well enough alone when I see something that manages to disturb me. Because if you manage to disturb me, you've got a problem. Regardless of whether you're really a lesbian or just a crazy obsessed bisexual who has latched onto a person and never wants to ever even think of letting go.

You young whippersnappers, making up rules about who can make up sayings! In my day, we all made up sayings, and did anyone thank us for it? No! They made us walk through the snow to tell people our sayings, and we were so poor we couldn't afford shoes, but did we complain? No, we did not. Not like you young 'uns, who think you're so goshdarned smart--
*ahem*
Sorry about that. My inner 70-year-old seems to have taken over for a moment. I can't really take credit for that saying - I've seen it on at least a couple of bumper stickers and buttons. I can only take credit for liking it enough to repeat it (and to buy one of the buttons).

I like to think I'm straight, and in fact thought that for all the healthy years of my life, until last Monday when my boyfriend's little Yoda figure, the one that answers yes or no questions, shot me down.
Well, he didn't really shoot me down at first, actually. See, Am (the bisexual-in-a-lesbian-relationship roommate) asked Yoda if I was a lesbian and he said "No, I sense the answer is" and I was like "OH YEAH! Eat that, biatch!" But then my boyfriend asked Yoda if he was screwing with us and he said yes, he was in fact screwing with us. Which I guess made me a lesbian on the spot.
I haven't noticed the signs yet, however.....

Straight, married with two children.
But I love my Gay/Lesbion friends! I know some Drag-Queens who are more of a woman then I'll ever be, and I take care of myself. ;)
I'm straight, but my marriage is cheapened when I know that I'm part of some fucking elite club that is exclusive. I prefer to be inclusive.

bisexual woman equally toward both sexes . . . i look at gender the same way i look at race - it shouldn't affect whether i hire someone or not, and it shouldn't affect whether i love someone or not.
to answer a question posted earlier - my family knows i'm bi and i don't try to hide it from friends and such. if we're close i tell them how i feel about it, if we're not i'll tell them if the subject comes up somehow.

Well in my area I actually see more of them in jeans one size bigger than needed and rock/vintage t-shirts, usually sporting a faux-hawk or some similar short hairstyle. So all I need so far is to lose 8 pounds and/or buy some new pants and cut my hair......
I've already got the rainbow coloured laces on a few pairs of my Converse and Reebok Classics, and I've got a hella old pair of Vans that's rainbow. Huh. Crazy foresight for somebody who never liked girls before.
Ahhh, quit pickin' on me just 'cause I'm not outed yet..... :p

I'm not, unfortunately :( Where I live and who I'm friends with, I'd jsut be asking to have my life ruined. I'm pretty sure that my family and close friends will be cool with it (and am, in fact, considering to come out to them), but anyone else... No chance in hell of that happening...

My friends know, my family, no.
I'm probably never going to tell them because i plan on getting married and having kids, you know, with the whole leaning towards guys thing. Plus my father's an evil bigot and would probably disown me. Not that that would matter though, but it would be nice to still be my father's daughter.

Me? I'm a lesbian, and I'm not ashamed to say it. (Unless you count my extended family into that figure. My parents know about it, but the rest of the family, they're in the dark. They're too conservative to accept it.) But personally, I don't care about one's sexual orientation. It's the character that makes the person, not who they sleep with. :D

Hard question to answer. I'm male, I've only ever been involved with females, and I've never found another male attractive nor had any sexual involvement with them. But I don't have any aversion towards men, either. Ho hum.
Bisexuality would be convenient, though. Gay men seem to more frequently find me attractive than straight women :/
Edit: And there'd be more potential victims, too.
