Original thread was someone's rants about how he gets all these stupid conversations with people. Well hey, I'd like to see some more of these kinds of conversations to feel better about myself.
*in the car, dad is driving, all is quiet...suddenly....*
Dad: Hey, Is that the moon or the sun up there?
Me: *looks up, gets blinded* Uh...the sun
Dad: Oh...okay.
In his defense, it was awfully cloudy. Though the whole BLINDING part usually gives it away
Me: So, why do we need to buy mothballs here?
Friend: Because my apartment gets no sunlight, so the air isn't fresh and the smell of mothballs is good.
Me: ....I....I see.
