Whether this is a result of a steroid induced frenzy (I will have Macaroni and Cheeze for dinner tonight...) sheer boredom, or my overactive imagination (I think zombies are REAL, remember?) I have taken up writing again as a passtime.

I've had been writing fanfiction for the past few years for a website that shall remain nameless. I even won an award for best romance on an authors' message board (who'dve thunk it...), but soon I got tired of the flamers (ROFL...ur 5h1t SUX! Whers teh SEX?!) idiots (So, what's happening now? I'm on chapter 10 and I don't get it?) fangirls/boys (No, your WRONG!!!) spammers (:P) and censors (Joe MaCarthy? Is that you?)

Eventually I was suspended for supposedly violating their TOS. I was unwarned of this rule change but got the boot anyway. I had used a certain obsenity (In was in good context) in one of my stories, but the rating system was practicaly revamped overnight and I was uninformed of the radical changes to the ratings. I had already been "warned" for several unitelligible reasons (One of which was a hoax, the other was an obscurity). By this time I was fed up with all the crap, so I emailed an official resignation.

But now, it seems I've jumped back into things. I'm doing original fiction now, and my first piece seems to be shaping up rather well. Hell, when I'm finished with the first chapter, I'll even post it here for your approval (I love criticism of any stripe, so long as it is constructive).

I'm certain that there are authors, poets, writers, or just plain daydreamers who love to scribble and type here. What I want to do is make this thread for authors to share their work, critique, and brainstorm new ideas. I know you're out there!

So please, if you have a peice of original fiction, an idea, or a poem (Haikus welcome) post it here!

I write a lot. Between screenplays, novels and short stories, I'm usually writing at least five things at once.

I'll try to dig up my last poem, but you won't like. I tend to be the only one that understands my work. :(

Outside of the OD I use for publishing my work, I've only publicly posted any work of mine once..I'm very shy/reserved in regards to showing such.

I have ideas for at least five novels. I'm struggling to get ONE started. Lol. I tried writing some stuff a few years ago. I got them completed, but never edited, let alone submitted. They're still resting on my shelf, waiting for their owner to do something with them, apart from laughing at them

I've always had a special affinity for writing and books, for whatever reason. However, the last fiction I wrote of any length was a 50 page novella in 6th grade (7 years ago). I stole a lot of ideas from Dragonball Z and Pokemon, but I actually ended up with a pretty intriguing story line.
I figure I may give a shot at it again this summer. I've nothing better to do, and have ideas for about 7 novels written down. PLUS a short outline for 1
