This should probably be in the NS2 forums, but no one goes there... How many people here would pay $5-$10 a month for NS2?
No, no I wouldn't and I hope no one else would, cause then I'd probably lose 1/2 my fav. posters and get bored and leave... :(
NS has wasted enough of my time over the years. If they demand payments, I'll simply leave. I already have a life outside of NS, and that life is far more important. U.S.$5-10 a month? Now that's a cheap circumcision (a bloody rip off)!

I'm 14 years old, and I definitely don't make money. What little I have goes into karting stuff, and I'm in no position to spend $60 a year on an internet game when so many are free. I'd need very good convincing that NS2 really will be something special. From what I've heard, it won't be enough to merit that cost, so I'll have to stay here. Shame, but what can I do, I'm not made of money.

Like I said before, NS has wasted enough of my time already. Now if they put up a charge, that'll be a legitimate excuse to have me (along with a whole bunch of people) gone for good.

I doubt the percentages will have changed much, and it has the added benefit of being conducted where everyone could see it, the log in page of everyone's nation, as opposed to a poll in one section of the forum.

If i lost NS i could just start playing Playstation again and leaving the house.

I'm already short of money as it is, and over time it would add up. I don't think that the improvements mentioned in the NS2 forum justify breaking the bank even more.
WTF?? Max already takes 95% of my precious time, and now he wants my money, too? Never!!! As soon as I get into college and can major in Web Design I'll design NationStates 3 or 4 which will put both previous versions to shame and will be free!!! Watch out, Salusa! :mp5:
Ok, having finished my rant for today...I can honestly say I'd never pay for NS2. I'm paying in blood, sweat, and tears for NS1 already -- well, not mine, but other peoples' (;)) -- and I refuse to pay more money in order to do things that relate in no way to my life outside of NS (and it does exist! darn you!).

max is just being greedy...just put up some ads to cover the costs (heres a hint: we wont care about the ads if you eliminate the cost...just no pop-ups)
