This book was by far targeted toward a mature audience. The book sadly spent most of its time centered on Harry finding out about Voldemort's past and the love triangles. There were no good fights or intense moments. The worst partwas Dumbledore's death, given that he drank the liquid, weakening himself, which allowed him to be killed, only later we find out it was for nothing. The item was a FAKE and now Harry wants to quit school. Not up to JKR's quality. The book was good, but the end was crap and killed the book. 2 or 3.

The Harry Potter books kinda sucked from the start and this just makes it worse. Man JKR needs to start making some books that are good and are not a bunch of crap. Like this and definetly 5

From what I read in OotP and what I heard of this Rowling is apparnetly trying to convert what was originally a relatively happy go lucky childs story line into some inciteful story full of depth and meaning, and besides I dobut anyone could do that, she is doing a horrible job. You can't turn the Ugly Duckling into White Fang

I voted 3... it was pretty good, not the best, but not the worst (book 2 has the prize for that)

I voted 3... it was pretty good, not the best, but not the worst (book 2 has the prize for that)I kind of liked 2...my favorite was 3 though. 4 dragged on and 1 didn't have enough detail. Also by book 5 the whole series has taken a turn for the darker. 4,5, and 6 are completely different from 1,2, and 3. It's almost a different series.

Jesus, the book is barely out 24 hours and you've already READ it?

You're lucky. I live in god-forsaken Panama. It's gonna take days for it to get here...
