Taking its cue from J.K. Rowling's latest book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, historic New Hamburg is changing its name, along with the names of many downtown businesses...

However, this village does take Pottermania to a whole new level...
Stores are getting new logos, thanks to clear plastic signs posted in windows that make it look like the letters are painted on the glass. Some shops will be setting candles along the road and up their front steps.
The Three Broomsticks, a bar otherwise known as Spirits on Peel, will feature a fire juggler and, of course, many concoctions have been remixed and renamed according to Potter lore. Quidditch, a game involving flying brooms, will be played on the ground as a cross between football, dodgeball and tag.
This sounds so awesome! I wish I had my G or fail that, G2!
