I think Lenin deserves a vote. Don't ask me why, though...

Definetely Lenin. If I voted for someone else my brain would explode, because of the chip that's been implanted in there. I mean....uh....I'd vote for him because...I'm a communist. Willingly. No brain-chip.

Lenin, because he didn't order the deaths of as many people as the others.
You can also vote on a matter of silliness. I definitely consider Kim Jong Il to be a clown, which is why I voted for him.

I didn't see Lenin until after I voted for Kim Jong Il :(
Now I'm a sad panda.

Don't worry, you won't be executed TOO slowly for doing that.
I decided to choose based on effectiveness. Therefore, I voted Hitler. He turned an entire nations into his own personality cult. The Nazis were the masters of propaganda, and I admit to being impressed by their mastery of imagery and rhetoric, though I hate what they used that skill to accomplish.

I voted Mussolini. He's underrated. He didn't have death camps like Hitler, didn't kill millions like Stalin and Mao, and he got Italy to work like a modern nation. He couldn't have been all that bad of a guy.

For the same reasons, I voted for Franco...he did so for Spain, and he did much better and much longer than Mussolini. For me, Franco is the sole example of a "wise" dictator. He created a modern country, settled his successorship fine and was a strong anti-communist.

Leninade? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Classic.
I voted Franco, because he is the least bastardy of them all... Only Mussolini approaches him in the niceness stakes. The rest are all mass-murdering bastards, whereas those two were - well, less murderous. No death camps, capricious cruelty, or deliberate famine, anyways.

Leninade? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Classic.
You bet it is.

Oh... I don't know about Franco... considering George Orwell was shot in the throat fighting the fascists in Spain...
Hitler.
Much as he was a self-centered bastard who was so German-centered it wasn't even the least bit funny, he still managed to turn Germany into Nazi Germany.
Good 'ol Nazi Germany. More Nazi rallys than you can shake my American flag at.
I think I need no explanation of why Nazy Germany = glorification for the Germans.
We don't see them as glorified, rather the opposite. But they sure as hell didn't think so.
EDIT: I don't see how murderous a dictator was has anything to do with how he glorified his country. Perhaps it depends on perspectives.
why are they all totalitarian or widely despised? I would not cast a vote for any of them, where's Pope John Paul II? Or Martin Luther King? I'd Vote Che over Stalin or Hitler anyday
Because it's semi-humorous/serious. Turn that frown upside down, Psov.

...Lenin.

Josef Stalin. He's the epitome of dictators; labour camps, police state, random cruelty, millions dead, psychotic paranoia, massively inflated ego & propaganda so good that many of his people were genuinely distraught when he died.
9 out of 10 modern dictators use & recommend the Stalin System (TM). It's effectiveness has been proven time & again, and it folds away neatly under the bed when not in use.

Lenin... Compared to the others he was practically harmless! :p
Apart from War Communism, the Kronstadt Revolt, and about five to ten million deaths... :P
Actually, I suppose Dubya must also go on my list of less murderous bastards. Because he is less murderous than, say, Hitler, or Lenin. Not less murderous than... hmmm... a fluffy bunny, or a Lithuanian jam-maker.
Leninade... it's real! Classic! Popaganda? A Hero of Soviet Flavour? Madness. Wish I'd known about this when I was doing history last year... Woulda made for some fun classes...
