I was born in Iraq in 1979. It was prety good place to live but when the Gulf War started my family moved to America. I quite enjoyed it there but it wasnt much better than Iraq. I attended an English class and discovered that I had quite a telent for it. Like all other American citizens I was shocked when the 9/11 attaks hapened. But in the 2 years following I was attaked by gangs on 3 seperate occations and I still do not have full use of my left hand and cant see out of my rite eye. In 2003, I moved to England and found it a much nicer place than eether Iraq or America. The poeple were very friendly and acepting. Last week when the subway bombings occured I was afraid to go outside because I thouht people would attack me again. Yet so far no one has made even a singel racist coment. This makes you think.

Thank you both.
Well, good job England I suppose.
Although what I really want to say is:

Canada is a country where skilled, English-speaking Chinese people can't get jobs becaue they're Chinese!

...yeah, that's what we do on this forum. within 5 posts we get completely away from your actual point and have a way more generalized conversation about the nature of racism. but my congratulations' stand...
