Anyone play Freelancer? I bought the game (used and cheap) about a month ago and still haven't installed it.
How are the online elements? What do you think of the gameplay/quests/game world? What's your overall impression?

It's Ok
better than star lancer not as good as tacyon.
haven't played on line much cos I'm crap but the missions are just repeated over and over and over so not too open ended for my taste. Still worth playing but still no match for tacyon unless the online play is brilliant.

Seriously, get the hell out of my head. I've been debating on making a Freelancer thread. And I was about to play it. I started playing it a couple weeks ago, beat it a few days ago. It's a great game, and the online aspects are rather good from what I've heard. I've only done multi, once.
Once I beat it, though, I was kinda let down at the ending. It was very anticlimatic, for me.
I'm currently looking for mods that'll add on missions/systems/etc. Any suggestions?
Tacyon, I believe I played a couple years ago when it was in a demo beta stage. If it's the one I'm thinking of, it was rather fun.
