I had no idea of this.

Go with neither. Write your own browser.

The Mozilla browser is a suite which includes several other applications, the idea behind Firefox was to get rid of the bloat that was caused by this and create a smaller, more streamlined, and basic browser that you can customize as you see fit by using extensions.

Mozilla's official support is coming to an end, and Firefox looks like it will be contending on the browser market for years to come... So I'd suggest going with Firefox. There is also a lot more support, and a lot more extensions/themes that are going to be kept up with Firefox.

There is still a reason to use the original Mozilla browser though, if you like all the applications that come along with it. It is my recomendation however, that if you aren't a developer, that you stick with Firefox. I use it. I wrote this reply in it. It works beautifully. I think I'm in love with it. Maybe :-)

Mmm, with Firefox, you can get the BugMeNot plugin. Definitely worth it.

IMHO, it's better than anything else.

The only thing I like better about Mozilla Suite is the way you use your passwords once they are saved; otherwise, Firefox is 10x better.

I switched from Mozilla to Firefox because my sister pointed out to me that I could better customize my toolbar.......all the added features were just a pleasant surprise.

Mozilla is the Internet programme suite, so it comes with stuff like a browser, newsgroup reader, e-mail programme, etcetera.

Firefox is simply the streamlined, specialised web browser from the Mozilla community. I use it, and if you need an e-mail programme, you can download Thunderbird (which is the same e-mail client used in the Mozilla Suite, I think) and use it in cojunction with Firefox.

It doesn't matter which you get as long as you dump that hunk of crap Internet Exploder. Nutscrape Nauseator isn't much better than IE. I only use IE for Windows Updates.
