Why is anything safe? Surely if living in the past is not safe, then living in the future is not safe, for we cannot see the future. And living in the present wouldnt be safe either because the present only lasts for one second, then its the past.

Sunrise Tower Club would help us live the past out better...however for the newer people here, they wouldn't know what that was. And they'd want it to remain Paradise Club. Once your the owner its your choice.

I didn't say they were the same thing. I said the Volcano died out. In it's last days, newer, fresher people joined NationStates and your club was born, mostly because no one wanted to listen to us in the Volcano. It became too clique-y and wasn't very welcoming to newcomers.

Plus, in the last couple threads, the Volcano just plainly sucked.

To be honest, I'm impressed that Sunrise Tower/Paradise Club has lasted so long.

PBC is actually new. Paradise club got to social... people (some anyway) were more interested in Cybering while others ran their own little stories... not involving anyone else. so Paradise Club was destroyed. there was a breif stint in the Elysian Caves, but when the creator (who had a major story going on) couldn't log in for a long time, it degenrated and finally... Paradise Beach Club.

Tho, hearing Gael and Sage talk about the older clubs as well as the vets... Damn, I wish I hit general sooner. :(

Hey I was just reading what happened while I was gone. Thanks for all the compliments on my club, I tried really hard to make it work. I think what happened is I was able to get all the patrons to back the club very well, so when I left Tink took over.

The club lived on without me, but I do think it has taken a slight downturn and I'd like to pick it back up.

And yes Rambo is right, there are some people who left, but they left NS completely, it wasn't only the club they got sick of. Some of the regulars are gone, but some have lasted. And we will always welcome the new.

It sort of is a reunion. I used to be the owner of this club, technically I never sold my shares but I left for about a year and now I'm back at it. I was very well liked by a lot of people, and hated by some, but forget about them. I'm back now and I'm going to take the club back.

Cuneo, I've run 46 clubs upto now, I've been doing it for longer than you, so I'd prefer it if Stag, with my help, could continue to run the place, as for starting the threads, for a long while now, it's been the member of staff online at the time of lockage with the most responsibility that starts the new ones, if no member if staff is online then any customer can do it, that's the way things work these days, you can't just expect to come back and everything be the same as it was when you left, most of the regulars here won't have heard of you
