Unholy Allience or New Beginning?

The following link is to an article in the Wall Street Journal about the most unlikely of liberal / conservative alliences I could ever imagine. My question would be, is it possible that the eminent domain decision could be a blessing in disguise? Are these people capable of learning to work together?

damned better work together on this one...

cant see how someone could support this decision and claim to have anyone's best interest in mind.

Do you actually want those people to work together?
Aren't they from different parties? (I've heard of deLay, but the other person is a mystery to me...)

They are polar opposites in every respect, from ideology to skin color. Pretty close to the extreme side of their parties as well.

Now, if they could learn to work together on other important issues as well we might get things moving again in this country.
